"I write a list and the kids choose one job they want to do! Super helpful kids!"
@gretasgotthis

"If you make dinner someone else cleans up."
@_lilyshortus

"I cook and clean mostly. Hubby does lawns, fixes things, chucks the odd load on."
@steph_peart

"We have set things we do every day and then we have specific days for bigger things. Kids make beds and tidy their own rooms everyday, I do my own room and dishes/washing everyday weather it's folding or washing a load. Set days for vacuuming, mopping, bathroom clean, laundry clean etc. We also do a quick night time tidy of rooms before bed. It all helps keep on top of it...but don't turn up unexpected...the mount of washing on my couch seems to be continual."

"My kids are a bit older so I don't have to have charts now. I have a list of things that need to be done on a white board and they tick them as they are done. Especially in the school holidays. When it comes to my husband and I it really varies depending on the time of year. At the moment he is working nights and 10 days on so I am picking up the slack but in his quiet season he does most of it so I can concentrate on my big assignments. All give and take in our house. But the kids learnt from an early age that chores came first then the fun stuff and the more they helped with the more free time I had to spend with them. Swings and roundabouts for sure."

"We share them. If it needs done whoever is free will do it. Farm is first priority then whoever isn't on farm and has kids will chip away at chores."
@nikkiheale

"The kids do jobs they enjoy. Emptying the dish washer sometimes a rack each. Moving washing from the machine to the dryer. Vacuuming. Their responsible for their own rooms and mess. Hubby does the washing because he seems to be motivated to keep the couch clear. I tidy and do more deep cleaning. We have a robotic vacuum which works well for keeping the house tidy or else it vacuums it up. Also have the most amazing cleaning lady who deep cleans once a week. When everything is going well everyone does their bit and it keeps it from building up and stressing me out."
