The Shepherdess Muster is coming to Tokanui, Murihiku Southland, 6-8 March 2026. Health and wellbeing is one of our core pillars at The Muster, and we are calling for expressions of interest from health, wellness and beauty providers keen to offer health, beauty or wellness services to around 300 rural wāhine during The Muster.
Please see below for more information about being a provider at The Muster. If you are interested, please complete the Expression of Interest form below.
If you have any questions throughout the process, please do not hesitate to contact our Stalls, Health & Beauty Coordinator, Greer – via [email protected].
Cost
The cost for health and beauty providers to attend The Muster is:
- $519 (incl GST) per person – if you are a small business offering health and beauty services for a fee over the weekend – this is the ticket for you.
- $749 (incl GST) – if you are a government or corporate health organisation providing information and resources or offering free services or services for a fee – such as health checks, screenings, or tests – this is the ticket for you.
The cost includes full catering throughout the weekend – six delicious meals, plus supper and morning and afternoon teas. There will be a coffee cart on-site to get your coffee fix, and a bar on-site for refreshments.
You’re welcome to attend guest speaker sessions and workshops whenever it fits around your appointments.
Accommodation
The cost of your ticket includes the option to bring your own camping set-up – tent, caravan, campervan, horse float, or just camp in the back of your ute! We will provide toilets and showers, but please note there is no power available in the camping area.
Pre-set-up tents are available to book at an additional cost. The paid tent set-up includes a comfy foam mattress, pillow, full bedding, and basic lighting. There are both two- and three-person tent options. Please enquire for more information on tented accommodation pricing.
On-site Set-up
The 2026 Shepherdess Muster will be held at the Tokanui Rugby Club (81 Turner Road, Tokanui). There are two options available for health, wellness and beauty provider sites.
- 3mx3m sites available outside on the rugby field. Please note, you will need to provide your own 3mx3m pop-up marquee, tables, chairs, and anything else that you might need for providing your services/treatments. These outdoor sites do not have access to power.
- Alternatively, we have indoor spaces available that are around 2mx2m. Again, you’ll need to bring your own tables, chairs, and anything else that you might need to deliver your services or treatments. If your health service requires privacy to ensure patient confidentiality, we have limited space available to support this.
- Please note that internet access may be limited due to the event’s location.
Security for your property and equipment will be your sole responsibility. Facilities at The Muster are basic – such is the nature of offering the event in a remote location – and we ask that you please work with us to make the most of the facilities that we do have.
