Social Club | Raumati Summer Online Conversation Series

Our second Social Club virtual event this summer is a conversation with Fleur Woods, taking place at 8pm on Tuesday 27th February.

Self-taught fibre artist Fleur Woods is crazy about the chaotic creative process. From her eclectic home in Upper Moutere, she surrounds herself with colourful fabrics and threads, combining them with beads and paints to create the intricate stitched paintings she’s known for. She invites everyone to slow down and join her in the essays and lush photographs of her new book, The Untamed Thread. Join us to take a peek inside Fleur’s studio, watch as she shows us her slow-stitching process and chat with her about her work.

The event will be hosted by Shepherdess Editor Kristy McGregor – if you have any questions you’d like asked during the conversation, feel free to send them in advance to kristy@shepherdess.co.nz.

This online event is only available to Social Club subscribers. Click here to find out more or to subscribe to Social Club.

Do you have a story to tell?

We'd love to hear it.
